¡Buena idea! ¿Verdad?
TRAVEL TO SLOVENIA. continuing the project
The second meeting of the LAB4SPACE project took place in December. This time the meeting was in Slovenia. After a long journey, which included plane to Bergamo, train with change in Bergamo-Milan-Bologna-Trieste, and finally transfer Trieste-Maribor, we could rest in this beautiful city, home of our Slovenian partners. On this occasion the Spanish delegation was formed by, Maria Jesus Falla and Isabel Guerle. Again our partners did not disappoint us, giving us an affectionate welcome from the whole center, and also counting on the presence of the Local Mayor of Maribor, second city of Slovenia, after the capital Ljuvjana. The school has 22 classrooms for 340 students and 39 teachers, plus a library, 2 gyms, a multipurpose room, a large dining room and a kitchen. The outdoor area has spaces for practicing sports such as volleyball, basketball, soccer, handball...
The agenda was full of interesting activities that we carried out inside and outside of the school, among them we emphasized the participation in a workshop of "Mathematics through the game" and another one of "Brain Gym" (Gymnastics for the brain). We also met in several working sessions to continue reaching agreements on the project in general and the organization of the first meeting in Seville in particular, which, as you know, will be the first time that students from all the partner countries will travel. But do you want to know what struck us the most? Well, all the pupils go in slippers!!! Yes. You have read well: as they enter the school they leave their shoes in their individual lockers and they put on their own slippers to be more comfortable during the class hours. Good idea! Isn´t it?

VISITA A ITALIA Arrancando nuestro Erasmus
gratificante.

VISITING ITALY : STARTING OUR PROYECT
In October 2016 the first Erasmus meeting took
place in Italy. The coordinators of the partner countries, accompanied by other
teachers of the centers, met there. In our case, the visitors were Inmaculada
Yáñez and Isabel Guerle. This was the first meeting of the project, so it was
especially interesting, since it was the first time all participants contacted
in person as we had only been in touch via the internet, wassap and Etwinning .
The Italian school is part of a set of schools in
the locality. There are 1500 students in total. Our hosts, the Italian
partners, acted as extraordinary hosts: they prepared a warm welcome in the
school, in which all the students participated, dedicating us songs, loving
words, presents made by them ...
In
addition, they had prepared a very interesting agenda, which included a visit
to the school, attending some classes, a tour of the city Castle San Giovanni,
cultural visit to a palace house, an inclusive sports experience and many other
activities. During the meetings, we made important agreements to launch our
project: dates of the next meetings, realization of a questionnaire about
description of emotions, distribution of tasks of the different partners,
selection criteria of students participating in mobilities...It was a very intense trip, very productive and undoubtedly very rewarding.

Celebrating the Peace´s Day
This year we have celebrated the peace´s day in a very
special way: we have learnt a song using the Sign Language. Since we are
working in a European project related to inclusion, we are especially sensible
with this kind of people who are hearing impaired and work hard to listen and
be listened. We have discovered how amazing is to talk with our hands and arms
to transmit a wonderful message to the worlds.
Don’t miss the video of our performance!!!
